Since 2008, Óscar Molina has been the chef responsible for the entire gastronomy of Ibiza Gran Hotel, which includes the Grand Breakfast at Costa Mara, the Pool Restaurant, and his most personal project, La Gaia. It is the hotel’s flagship restaurant, the first hotel restaurant in Ibiza with a MICHELIN Star. Óscar Molina proposes a menu of unique, authentic flavors and many contrasts, in which local food and Mediterranean products play a fundamental role.
Its honest gastronomy reflects an ecological awareness and environmental responsibility, a respect for the purest and most original flavor of foods of strict proximity from its production to its consumption. Its zero-kilometer cuisine is based on squeezing the quality of seasonal and local products that´s surrounding, a commitment to the natural environment of Ibiza that contributes to evolution within the framework of sustainable development.
Recognized with a MICHELIN star and two suns by the Repsol Guide, he is considered one of the best chefs in Spain. Óscar Molina also won the prestigious VI National Gastronomy Award (FACYRE) in 2004 and the Ibiza – Formentera Gastronomic Award for Best Chef. of the year 2018.
